Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Student Success Advisor to enhance the student experience at Joyce University of Nursing and Health Sciences. In this role, you will deliver essential administrative assistance in student services through advising, mentoring, and direct engagement with a designated group of students. You will acquire a comprehensive understanding of university policies, program curricula, and graduation prerequisites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist assigned students with various needs, including scheduling, course management, study techniques, and time management.
  • Provide guidance on professionalism and uphold academic integrity and student conduct standards.
  • Organize and facilitate student workshops and monthly appreciation events.
  • Monitor and identify students at risk of academic challenges.
  • Offer support and resources to students facing potential academic difficulties.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to students to encourage ongoing success in their studies.
  • Document all student interactions in the student information system.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to student inquiries through various communication channels.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.
  • Collaborate with university departments to promote student success.
  • Ensure compliance with FERPA regulations.
  • Assist with orientation, graduation, and other student-related events as needed.
  • Maintain student areas to ensure cleanliness and availability of necessary resources.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education: Minimum of an Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience: 2-3 years in a related field; experience in higher education is preferred.

Location: Draper, UT

Employment Status: Full-time

Work Hours: 40 hours per week
