Job Summary:The HVAC Owner Account Executive will promote and sell service offerings to building owners, particularly at the Director level. This role emphasizes building long-term relationships and customer satisfaction while achieving monthly sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and at least six years of sales experience, with a focus on HVAC or building automation systems.
About the Role:This is a dynamic role that requires a strong understanding of HVAC and building automation systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the Johnson Controls value proposition to building owners by providing technical solutions and operational expertise. They will build and manage long-term customer relationships/partnerships with target and managed accounts, positioning renewable service agreements as the foundation of managed account relationships.
Main Responsibilities:- Sell the Johnson Controls offerings persuasively, persistently and confidently to building owners at the D-level while reaching optimal profit levels.
- Focusing on improving the existing building to allow the building owner to achieve business objectives.
- Manage ongoing opportunities, particularly focusing on selling services and retrofits.
- Sell, renew and expand renewable service agreements, including multi-year agreements, to both new and existing customers.
- Build partnering relationships with the owner or owner representatives responsible for the decision-making process to drive the sale of Johnson Controls service offerings.
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field required.
- A minimum of six (6) years of progressive field sales experience.
- At least one year successfully selling HVAC or building automation system service or projects.
- Demonstrates a commitment to integrity and quality in business.
- Excellent initiative and interpersonal communications skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence account decision makers at key levels.
- Competitive salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum
- Paid vacation/holidays/sick time - 15 days of vacation first year
