Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Staff Accountant to become a vital part of our Finance department. This role will report directly to the Controller and will be integral in supporting various functions within the Finance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute general accounting tasks, including managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile financial transactions.
  • Conduct financial analyses and provide actionable recommendations to enhance financial performance.
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts.
  • Oversee the fixed asset management system.
  • Support property tax and sales tax filing processes.
  • Prepare and disseminate financial reports on a monthly, weekly, and daily basis.
  • Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
  • Perform account reconciliations, variance analyses, and various accrual calculations.
  • Assist with both internal and external audits.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify and rectify discrepancies.
  • Engage in additional duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) in accounting, finance, or business administration, along with 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in communicating financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
  • Commitment to following all safety policies and procedures.
