The Alzheimer's Association is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Outreach Coordinator to implement our program delivery and growth strategy in the greater Boston area. This role will focus on engaging with diverse communities and recruiting, training, and leading volunteers to deliver and grow programs.
Key Responsibilities- Implement a data-informed community impact plan to expand reach in assigned markets
- Conduct ongoing community assessments through community forums and identify opportunities for growth
- Recruit, train, and lead volunteers to deliver and grow programs in designated markets
- Maintain a portfolio of community partners and expand collaborative agreements
- Create urgency for our cause by promoting a full-mission value proposition
- Model and foster behaviors that contribute to a culture that values staff/volunteer/community partnership
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of program, community impact, and volunteer performance data
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Three years of experience in program delivery or volunteer management
- Experience in community health and community mobilization a plus
