Key Responsibilities

The Appointment Coordinator will oversee patient referrals and scheduling of visits.
  • Employs an automated scheduling platform to manage a calendar of services for both episodic and per-visit clients.
  • Handles workflow for scheduled, missed, rescheduled, reassigned, declined, and completed visits.
  • Monitors daily pending referrals and assigns licensed professionals and case managers for all initiation of care visits.
  • Maintains daily communication with field staff regarding any unresolved visits that are late, pending, or incomplete to ensure appropriate resolution.
Qualifications

Educational Background
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience Requirements
  • Preferred minimum of one year of scheduling experience in a healthcare environment utilizing an online scheduling system.
Skill Set Requirements
  • Outstanding organizational, customer service, communication, and decision-making abilities are essential.
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to OASIS visits, supervisory, and reassessment visits is required.
