The NYC Department of Homeless Services (DHS) works to prevent homelessness before it occurs, reduce street homelessness, and assist New Yorkers to transition from shelter into permanent housing. Our HERO unit identifies and secures shelter for families and single adults who apply for emergency housing assistance.

Job Description
The Serious Incident Manager will oversee a team providing real-time reporting on Priority 1,2 and 3s, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance reporting. The manager will also monitor and coordinate incident reporting matters across multiple facilities, liaise with stakeholders, and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
* Four years of satisfactory, full-time community liaison, community organization or community relations experience
* Two years of broad administrative or policy-making experience with responsibilities as described above

Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary range of $73,000 - $104,500 per year, depending on experience. The City of New York also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension plan, and paid time off.
