**Job Summary**

The Executive Director of Operations is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities to obtain optimum use of equipment, facilities, and personnel. This individual will consult with airport management, manage and motivate operational personnel, and confer with upper management in formulating administrative and operational policies and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Manage and motivate personnel to achieve operational excellence

* Analyze records of daily operations to maintain knowledge of station activities

* Review and analyze expenditures, financial and operations reports to determine requirements for increasing profits

* Prepare recommendations on findings for upper management evaluation

* Recommend capital expenditures for acquisition of new equipment which would increase efficiency and services

* Approve requisitions for equipment, materials, and supplies within limits of facility budget

**Security and Compliance**

* Maintain and control all required aspects of the operation in accordance with the corporate security program and TSA legislation

* Ensure that the required company audit requirements are undertaken to ensure continuity and compliance at all times

**Leadership and Communication**

* Direct investigations into cause of internal and external complaints relating to the facility

* Negotiate contracts with equipment and materials suppliers

**Requirements**

* Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

* Strong organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills

**Preferred Skills**

* Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language

**Work Environment**

* Remain in a stationary position 50% of the time

* Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

* Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer

* Walk short distances

* Reach above and/or below shoulder

* Handle/grasp documents or office equipment

* Sit and/or stand for short or extended periods of time

* Lift/carry/move objects, files and documents up to 10 pounds

* Work in an office environment using standard office equipment
