Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-focused care and overseeing all departmental functions during their shift. This role involves:

  • Facilitating patient admissions and discharges to optimize care delivery.
  • Engaging in continuous assessment of care quality in collaboration with management.
  • Fostering teamwork and collaboration to enhance service and outcomes.
  • Promoting a patient-centered philosophy and addressing service recovery when needed.
  • Implementing nursing strategies to boost staff engagement and operational efficiency.
  • Participating in the recruitment, training, and development of nursing staff.
  • Managing staff schedules in alignment with patient care needs.
  • Overseeing inventory control and supply management.

Qualifications Required

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • ONS Chemotherapy Provider certification.
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential.
  • Current Registered Nurse license.
  • Registered Nurse Diploma.
