About the Role
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinating all functions within the unit during their shift. In collaboration with the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in line with established policies and procedures, serving as a resource for staff and exemplifying the organization's mission and values.
Oncology Nursing
Oncology nurses specialize in providing compassionate care to patients with cancer, including monitoring post-surgery patients, administering chemotherapy, and facilitating access to necessary resources.
Unit Highlights:

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
- Participate in ongoing assessments of patient care quality in collaboration with management.
- Collaborate with experts and managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
- Uphold a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery as needed.
- Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement and operational efficiency.
- Provide input on hiring, training, and development of new staff.
- Manage staff scheduling and ensure compliance with productivity guidelines.
- Assist with inventory control and management of supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
- ONS Chemotherapy Provider certification.
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) designation.
- Registered Nurse with a diploma from an accredited nursing program.
