About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Specialist to join our team at AdventHealth Hendersonville. As a key member of our sterile processing department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Decontaminate and sterilize medical instruments and equipment to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Operate and maintain steam sterilizers and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and inventory management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to healthcare teams and patients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless operation of the sterile processing department.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification within 18 months of hire date.
