The ideal candidate will possess experience in navigating policy discussions within relevant forums. A strong interest in the intersection of technology and policy is essential, particularly in scenarios where technology solutions are not straightforward amidst varying stakeholder interests.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct statistical, content, and legal analyses as part of research initiatives.
- Develop and submit FOIA requests, and review pertinent legislation and significant court rulings related to the research objectives.
- Collaborate with team members to assess the needs of commercial, federal, and academic stakeholders within the technology sector.
- Prepare and present comprehensive policy research reports to diverse audiences and stakeholders.
- Assist in transitioning original research from conception to academic publication.
- Engage in extensive writing tailored for a policy-oriented audience, ensuring clarity on complex technical subjects.

Required Qualifications

- Master’s Degree in a relevant field
- Currently pursuing an advanced degree
- Proven experience in creating FOIA requests
- Demonstrated proficiency in statistical, content, and legal analysis as research methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

- PhD in Public Policy or Communications & Technology

Additional Information

This internship is designed for current or prospective doctoral students, with the potential for extension into subsequent terms based on performance.
