Job Title: CCI xG Testbed Research Intern

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and focused research intern to join our team at the Commonwealth Cyber Initiative (CCI) in Arlington – Ballston, Northern Virginia. As a research intern, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects related to advanced wireless communication networks and autonomous systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of proof-of-concept projects
  • Administer laboratory inventory and configure software and hardware
  • Maintain and develop new functionalities on the CCI xG Testbed webpage

Requirements:

  • Experience with computer networking and wireless communication
  • Experience with software development (C, C++, Java, Python, MatLab, etc.)
  • Currently a junior or senior undergraduate student majoring in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with signal propagation, 5G technologies, Internet of Things, radio communication, machine learning, and computer networks
