Job Summary:

Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Specialty Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to plan and execute patient care needs in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary team members to plan and execute patient care needs
  • Ensure equipment and supplies are available and functioning prior to procedures
  • Train and mentor staff on service-specific procedures
  • Demonstrate commitment to professional improvement and advancement of Perioperative nursing through education, research, and clinical practice
  • Work with nurse manager to coordinate, implement, and evaluate change processes

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • BSN strongly preferred
  • Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certification required
  • Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas
