Job Title: Maintenance Technician IV

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician IV to join our team at C&W Services. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the overall operation and appearance of our facilities, utilizing trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and roofing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, with a major focus on electrical installation and repair.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly inspections of the facility, grounds, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Manage assigned work orders, recording time and materials needed to complete repairs, and request necessary materials and supplies through proper channels.
  • Assist in inventory control and maintain maintenance logs and records as required.
  • Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed, and notify management of all impacting events in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Journeyman Electrician license.
  • 5+ years of experience working with electrical distribution, wiring, transformers, and switchgears.
  • 5+ years of experience working with plumbing/pipefitting, carpentry work, and blueprint reading.
  • 3+ years of work order management systems experience.
  • Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record, and ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Previous Vendor and subcontract management experience.
Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Ability to work in an environment with exposure to dust, hot and cold conditions, and loud noises.
  • Must have ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb steps/ladders, and frequently lift a minimum of 50 lbs. of equipment.
  • Ability to perform tasks wearing the appropriate or required PPE, which may include but is not limited to hard hat, face mask, face shield, and composite toe shoes.
