Colonial Gardens, a leading independent living community dedicated to active seniors, is currently seeking a part-time Culinary Support Associate. This role offers approximately 20 hours of work per week, primarily during evening hours.

The Culinary Support Associate will be trained to perform various kitchen tasks. This position serves as a developmental opportunity with the potential for advancement into key culinary roles such as Cook, Sous Chef, or Executive Chef, based on performance and skill development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in serving meals to residents at their tables.
  • Clear and clean dining tables after meals.
  • Wash, dry, and properly store dishes and utensils.
  • Set up dining room tables for meals.
  • Perform light food preparation tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents.
  • A friendly, professional demeanor with a passion for enhancing the lives of others.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning and sanitation practices.
  • Must obtain and maintain a food handlers' permit as per state regulations.
