Natural Grocers is on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to become part of their team as a Wellness Nutrition Advisor. In this position, you will play a crucial role in delivering nutrition guidance to customers, the store team, and the wider community. Your primary responsibilities will encompass facilitating educational sessions, personalized coaching, and community outreach initiatives while also supporting retail functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary nutrition education resource for customers, team members, and the community
  • Deliver exceptional customer service in the health and wellness sections and assist with retail operations
  • Conduct nutrition and recipe demonstration workshops, outreach classes, and one-on-one coaching sessions
  • Foster community relationships and explore outreach opportunities
  • Stay updated on nutrition knowledge through ongoing education
  • Help organize and implement company-wide events
  • Train team members on promoting wellness services, in-store events, and special promotions
  • Participate in monthly meetings and represent the company at guest presenter events

Qualifications:

  • Degree or certification in nutrition or a related discipline
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong public speaking and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with effective time management abilities
  • Passionate about providing nutrition education and advocating for health and wellness
  • Comfortable in a retail environment and performing related operations
