Role Overview: The Property Leasing Specialist supports the Community Manager and Leasing Manager in showcasing and leasing available apartment homes to potential residents. This includes preparing and executing lease agreements and ensuring a welcoming environment. This role is essential in maintaining high operational standards and fostering quality community living in alignment with Avanti Residential's objectives and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the leasing process from initial contact with prospective residents to property tours, effectively promoting the property/apartment, and finalizing lease agreements.
  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of policies regarding lead responses, application requirements, screening processes, and rental policies.
  • Ensure that 'model' and target apartments are ready for viewing and maintain awareness of the community's curb appeal.
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service skills, ensuring professional, prompt, and courteous interactions with residents, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Actively participate in the renewal process and assist in developing and sustaining a resident retention program under the guidance of the Community Manager.
Qualifications:

Essential Skills:
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience is necessary.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • Proficiency in technology, including computer software and iPad usage.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background screening prior to employment.
  • Note: If minimum qualifications are met during resume screening, the Wonderlic pre-employment assessment will be required.
