Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Director to lead our financial operations in the construction sector.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. They will also manage cash flow needs, ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, and lead a team of finance professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for projects and company operations.
  • Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow needs to support projects, maintain liquidity, and oversee accounts payable and receivable.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, establish internal controls, and prepare for audits as necessary.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative work environment and contributing to financial strategy discussions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with a background in construction or project-based financial management highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of construction financials, including job costing, contract management, and budgeting.
  • Proficiency in financial software and construction management tools (e.g., Procore, Viewpoint), along with advanced skills in Excel.
