Environmental Project Manager

Essel is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Foreman to lead and manage construction projects, ensuring seamless coordination between project stakeholders and maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Oversee daily project activities, ensuring timely completion and effective communication with team members, clients, and agency representatives.
- Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols, conducting daily permit-to-work discussions and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Team Leadership: Motivate and direct team members, promoting a positive work environment and encouraging open communication.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct daily inspections of equipment and tools, maintaining them in top condition to ensure project efficiency.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate daily notes and field logs to track progress and issues.
- Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, ensuring timely and efficient project progression.
- Material Planning: Determine material needs and delivery schedules to maintain workflow.
- Reporting: Provide daily reports on labor, equipment, material usage, and production for accurate job cost tracking.
- Budget Oversight: Collaborate with the Project Manager to review budgets versus actual costs and production factors.
- Change Management: Identify and address change order conditions promptly.
- Health & Safety: Conduct health and safety-related activities to ensure a safe work environment.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or GED.
- Experience: 7-10 years in civil construction with a focus on excavation and grading.
- Certifications: 40-Hr HAZWOPER or current 8-Hr HAZWOPER Refresher Certification, CPR/First Aid training certification.
- Licensing: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
