Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide coaching to clinic staff to ensure they deliver consistent, empathetic, and customer-focused responses to patient needs throughout their experience.
  • Play an integral role in the training and onboarding of new team members.
  • Familiarize yourself with company processes and procedures, establishing standards for their implementation within the clinic.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to provide coaching on customer service, attendance, and performance, escalating complex employee relations issues to Regional Leadership and HR as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to patient experience best practices by all team members.
  • Maintain a positive and proactive attitude to foster trustworthy relationships across all organizational levels, enhancing morale, productivity, and retention.
  • Effectively manage patient scheduling to optimize access to care and provider utilization.
  • Review and approve staff timecards to ensure accuracy in reported hours.
  • Assist clinic staff in addressing and resolving patient and family complaints, escalating unresolved issues to Regional Leadership.
  • Ensure that necessary supplies are adequately stocked and kept out of patient view.
  • Consistently exemplify Epiphany's Core Values, contributing to a collaborative team culture.
  • Maintain reliable attendance to support team objectives and meet patient and business needs, adjusting availability as required.
  • Ensure compliance with standards for safeguarding patient information and financial data, maintaining confidentiality and security.
  • Adhere to OSHA workplace safety regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a customer service role within the healthcare sector.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in nursing is preferred but not mandatory. Commitment to ongoing Medical Assistant training is essential.
  • Familiarity with EMA by Modernizing Medicine is advantageous but not required.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Completion of designated training programs within the first month of employment.
  • Participation in a leadership development program within the first year of employment.
Work Environment:

The role is set in a medical office and may involve exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, and other health-related risks. Daily responsibilities may include standing, walking, sitting, bending, and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
