Key Responsibilities

The Team Leader position is designed for those looking to develop their leadership skills while preparing for advancement into a supervisory role. This position typically lasts between 12 to 24 months, allowing for thorough professional growth.

  • Guide clinic personnel to ensure they provide empathetic and customer-focused responses to patient needs throughout their journey.
  • Actively participate in the training and onboarding of new staff members.
  • Familiarize yourself with company protocols and establish standards for their implementation within the clinic.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions with clinic staff regarding customer service, attendance, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices for patient experience among all team members.
  • Maintain a positive and proactive attitude to foster strong relationships across all organizational levels, enhancing morale and productivity.
  • Manage patient scheduling effectively to optimize access to care and provider utilization.
  • Review and approve staff timecards for accuracy.
  • Assist clinic staff in addressing and resolving patient and family concerns, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Ensure that necessary supplies are available and appropriately stored.
  • Consistently embody Epiphany's Core Values, contributing to a collaborative and team-oriented culture.
  • Maintain reliable attendance to support team objectives and patient needs, adjusting availability as required.
  • Ensure compliance with standards for safeguarding patient information and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Adhere to workplace safety regulations.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a customer service role within a healthcare setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience as a Medical Assistant or in nursing is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with EMA by Modernizing Medicine is advantageous but not essential.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Completion of designated training programs within the first month of employment.
  • Participation in leadership development programs within the first year of employment.
Work Environment

This role operates within a medical office and may involve exposure to various health-related environments. Daily responsibilities may include standing, walking, sitting, bending, and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
