Position: Supply Chain Materials Supervisor

The ideal candidate for the Supply Chain Materials Supervisor role will possess the strategic insight necessary to lead site-level initiatives that align with corporate supply chain objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulates and executes strategies for the effective procurement and oversight of materials.
- Supervises the purchasing team to ensure compliance with customer specifications and corporate standards when acquiring products.
- Assesses and cultivates relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms for goods and services.
- Ensures the availability of materials, monitors supplier performance, and manages raw material inventory turnover.
- Tracks shortage reports and communicates material shortages to relevant stakeholders to meet performance metrics.
- Evaluates and enhances supplier performance in both supply chain programs and daily purchasing activities.
- Facilitates corrective action initiatives between the company and suppliers.
- Leads the Materials Department, which includes Buyers, Inventory Analysts, and Stockroom staff.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, with coursework in Business, Finance, or related disciplines.
- 3-4 years of experience in purchasing electronic components or PCBs.
- At least 2 years of leadership experience, ideally in the electronic manufacturing services sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in materials management accounting, cost-benefit analysis, and inventory control systems.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and procurement practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Outlook.
- Familiarity with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Mathematical proficiency for calculating rates, ratios, and percentages.
