Pediatric Cardiac Intermediate Care Unit RN

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Intermediate Care Unit at Ascension Seton Northwest. As a Pediatric Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to our young patients and their families.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in the Cardiac Intermediate Care Unit.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs.
- BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire.
- Registered Nurse licensure from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
- BSN degree.
- BLS/PALS/ACLS certification required (can obtain PALS/ACLS upon hire).
- 2 years of pediatric cardiac stepdown experience.
- 1 year of RN inpatient hospital experience.
