Pediatric RN Registered Nurse Intermediate Care Unit

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric RN Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension Seton Northwest. As a Pediatric RN Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and coordinating with the healthcare team to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit, including assessing and coordinating patient discharge planning needs.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders.
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure well-coordinated patient care, including serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
- 2+ years of inpatient pediatric experience.
- Ability to precept new RNs and fulfill Charge RN duties.
