Pediatric Registered Nurse RN Intermediate Care Unit

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intermediate Care Unit at Ascension Seton Northwest. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients and their families, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Responsibilities- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and wellness.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, ensuring a smooth transition to home or other care settings.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
- Registered Nurse licensure from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
- 2+ years of inpatient pediatric experience.
- Ability to precept new RNs and fulfill Charge RN duties.
