Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Cardiac Intermediate Care Unit team at Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin, Texas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring effective coordination with the healthcare team.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, ensuring a smooth transition to home or further care.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
  • Registered Nurse licensure from the Texas Board of Nursing required prior to hire date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree
  • BLS/PALS/ACLS certification (PALS/ACLS can be obtained upon hire)
  • 2 years of pediatric cardiac stepdown experience
  • 1 year of inpatient hospital experience as a Registered Nurse
