Financial Operations Manager
Compensation: $115k-$125k + bonus DOE

Vaco is seeking a skilled and proactive leader to take on the role of Financial Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a robust blend of financial acumen and accounting expertise, demonstrating a commitment to meeting deadlines and collaborating effectively with executive teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the formulation of the organization’s budget and financial forecasts, delivering insights and analyses to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate completion of month-end closing processes, overseeing comprehensive accounting functions.
  • Prepare and scrutinize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with GAAP standards.
  • Coordinate external audit processes, acting as the primary liaison with auditors and supplying necessary documentation.
  • Work alongside senior leadership to devise financial strategies that align with the organization’s growth objectives and long-term viability.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement improvements.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc management reports.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in public accounting is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
