Role Summary: This position is responsible for directing and coordinating activities related to the management, acquisition, installation, and maintenance of internal communication and information systems along with associated equipment. Key responsibilities include configuring new computers, ensuring network security, collaborating with external IT vendors, and implementing various software solutions as required. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, network security protocols, and Meraki networking devices is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the operation of the dealership's comprehensive computer system and related peripherals.
- Establish and maintain the dealership's network environment, including directories and security protocols. Ensure regular backups of all files and security rights.
- Utilize expertise in the maintenance and operation of computer hardware, operating systems, and related software applications.
- Provide training to staff on the use of dealership and manufacturer computer systems.
- Enhance the effective use of dealership systems by analyzing user requirements.
- Oversee the procurement of all computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Coordinate equipment installation and maintenance with relevant department managers to minimize communication disruptions and enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist department heads in setting up and optimizing management information systems.
- Design, develop, and update computer-generated forms, management reports, and other requested documents.
- Participate in management meetings.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
