Key Responsibilities
  • Provide orientation and mobility support to students with visual impairment, including direct and indirect services.
  • Evaluate student progress and document data to inform progress reports.
  • Collaborate with teachers of students with visual impairments to conduct functional vision assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support students' independent travel goals.
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure seamless support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • ACVREP certification in Orientation and Mobility.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with students with visual impairments in a school setting.
