Our client, a rapidly expanding vertically integrated cannabis organization, is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to become part of their team. The Pharmacist will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive exceptional consultations and guidance regarding their medical cannabis requirements.

This position is responsible for facilitating smooth and efficient patient care through consultations, adhering to state regulations, and aligning with company policies while supporting our core initiatives. Actions and efforts must contribute positively to the overall culture and mission of the organization. Compliance, compassion, and quality care are fundamental focuses for our Pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities:

- Exemplify outstanding service, dedication, and energy to lead by example.
- Mentor and inspire store staff and managers through ongoing training on compliance, products, and best practices.
- Uphold and promote a culture of positivity, professionalism, and adherence to policies and regulations.
- Conduct both over-the-phone and in-person consultations to ensure patients and caregivers receive accurate and compassionate information.
- Follow established policies and procedures to execute all company programs related to customer service, patient management, compliance, and safety.
- Provide guidance to patients and employees on cannabis product selection, effects, potency, dosing, and methods of consumption.
- Identify and implement process improvements to support company growth.
- Address employee or customer concerns diplomatically while collaborating with management.
- Report any product-related issues in real-time to the appropriate management personnel.
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.

Required Qualifications:
- Must possess an active Virginia Pharmacy license and be a registered medical professional with the Board of Pharmacy.
- Willingness to undergo and pass a comprehensive background check.
- Strong team management and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent compliance and regulatory mindset.
- Proficient in oral and written communication.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Proficient in MS Office and capable of navigating multiple software platforms.
- Knowledge of cannabis products and their applications.
- Flexibility regarding work schedule, including evenings and weekends.
