Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled RN Clinical Nurse II to join our Labor and Delivery team at UNC Rex Holly Springs Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to professional standards.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in patient education, discharge planning, and post-discharge follow-up to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment by maintaining accurate records, communicating effectively with colleagues, and adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote a positive and supportive care environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure in North Carolina.
  • ACLS, BCLS, and NRP certifications.
  • One year of experience as a licensed RN.
