Clinical Nurse II

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team at UNC Rex Holly Springs Hospital. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide competent clinical nursing care to patients in a hospital setting, utilizing the nursing process to coordinate and deliver patient care.
Responsibilities- Participate in identifying and meeting learning needs of self and others, attending education programs and using patient education materials to enhance patient care.
- Evaluate patient care and seek guidance as needed, participating in discussions with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
- Implement care plans, utilizing healthcare organization and nursing standards, policies, and procedures, and prioritizing care according to patient needs.
- Lead by example, developing goals to promote professional growth and minimizing limitations, and participating in performance improvement activities.
- Assess patient needs, recognizing data from complex situations to determine priorities for care, and synthesizing assessment data into meaningful whole prior to communication to others.
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- One (1) year of nursing experience.
