Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled RN Clinical Nurse II to join our Labor and Delivery team at UNC Rex Holly Springs Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to professional standards.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in patient education, discharge planning, and post-discharge follow-up to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including vital signs, medications, and treatment plans.
  • Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment by adhering to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure in North Carolina.
  • ACLS, BCLS, and NRP certifications.
  • One year of experience as a licensed RN.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Labor and Delivery or obstetric nursing.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
