Curriculum Standards Consultant

Valkyrie Enterprises is seeking qualified Curriculum Standards Consultants to provide support for Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC).

Job Overview:
  • Facilitates the oversight of educational standards necessary for effectively training personnel assigned to US Navy surface vessels.
  • Contributes to the execution of requirements in Electronic Classroom settings and ensures the seamless integration of educational programs.
  • Offers specialized knowledge in curriculum assessment and the application of standards for Learning Management Systems.
  • Evaluates proposed modifications and enhancements to educational programs and training systems to ascertain implementation requirements and their effects on training efficacy and system preparedness.
Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Navy Training Management, development of training materials, and lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Classroom (ECR) environments, including ECR LAN webpages and My Navy Portal (MNP) Community of Practice (COP) functionalities.
  • Experience in curriculum test item evaluation and Learning Management Systems (LMSs).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • No additional qualifications required.
Security Clearance:
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance is necessary.
Travel Requirements:
  • Limited travel may be necessary.
  • If travel involves domestic flights or access to secure federal facilities/military installations, candidates must be able to secure and maintain appropriate identification credentials.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, whether standing or sitting.
  • Mobility to complete tasks and transition between different work locations.
  • Effective communication skills for information exchange and repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Exposure to various environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures, noise, and confined spaces.

Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 annually
