Overview:

The Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in assessing patients and collaborating with physicians to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients and assist in their care management.
  • Plan, implement, and document nursing interventions tailored to patient needs.
  • Identify patient requirements and prioritize care through thorough assessment and planning.
  • Develop and coordinate individualized care plans based on initial and ongoing evaluations.
  • Conduct assessments grounded in the patient's health issues, medical diagnoses, and functional health framework.
  • Execute therapeutic nursing interventions effectively.
  • Oversee patient care management and ensure documentation aligns with care standards.
  • Advocate for evidence-based practices and support the integration of innovative care delivery methods.
  • Deliver patient-centered care consistent with professional nursing standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit within a major acute care hospital setting is essential.
  • A robust background in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing is required.
