About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Nurse to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our research team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our clinical trials.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology clinical research nursing and experience with regulatory issues and protocol revisions. You will work closely with our principal investigators, clinical research coordinators, and regulatory specialists to ensure that all studies are conducted in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.

Responsibilities will include recruiting and evaluating potential study patients, reviewing medical records, and instructing patients and staff on aspects of patient care. You will also assist with the consent process and ensure that patients understand clinical trials and obtain written informed consent.

Requirements
  • Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license
  • Graduate of a NLN/AACN accredited program in nursing
  • 3-5 years oncology clinical research nursing experience
  • Education on human subject research and GCP (CITI Training and Certification) preferred
  • Familiarity with basic scientific and healthcare principles and terminology preferred
  • BSN preferred
