ROLE OVERVIEW

  • Key Responsibilities: Duties include organizing surgical instrument trays, preparing sterile drapes and solutions, assisting in patient preparation, and providing instruments to surgeons during procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Experience: A minimum of one year in a surgical environment is preferred.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required within 90 days of employment.
  • Certification: A Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential is essential.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Minimal to no travel is expected.
