Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Technology Specialist to join our operations team at ForTec Medical. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering innovative surgical technologies to hospitals and surgery centers, providing technical support to surgeons and staff, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate surgical lasers and other medical devices, providing technical guidance to surgeons and staff.
  • Perform pre-operative checklists, sterilization, and laser calibrations, ensuring equipment is in optimal working condition.
  • Review patient procedure requirements with surgeons and staff, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Conduct medical equipment inventories, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Practice safe vehicle operations, safe workplace practices, and laser safety techniques, prioritizing employee and patient safety.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with ForTec employees and client employees, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience a plus.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, occasional evening cases, and overnight travel.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
  • Professional demeanor and strong communication skills essential for success in this role.
