As a clinical technology specialist, you'll interact with top physicians and hospital staff, utilizing innovative medical technologies to deliver the best outcomes for patients.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate surgical lasers and medical devices, providing technical guidance to surgeons and staff before and during surgery
- Perform pre-operative checklists, sterilization, laser calibrations, and complete required paperwork
- Review patient procedure requirements with surgeons and staff before the case
- Conduct medical equipment inventories
- Practice safe vehicle operations, workplace practices, and laser safety techniques
- Develop a team-oriented working relationship with ForTec employees and client employees
- Deliver innovative surgical technologies to hospitals and surgery centers for scheduled procedures
Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
Key Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior medical, EMT, surgical technologist, or military experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with early mornings or occasional evening cases, and occasional overnight travel
- Ability to push, pull, or manipulate over 50 pounds of medical equipment
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Professional demeanor
