Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and uphold comprehensive financial accounting standards.
- Supervise financial reporting processes and ensure proper documentation.
- Conduct thorough financial analyses and reconciliations.
- Prepare and evaluate financial statements along with supporting schedules.
- Collaborate with both internal and external audit teams.
- Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA/CGFM designation preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in federal financial accounting.
- In-depth knowledge of federal accounting standards (FASAB, GAAP, USSGL).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Active Public Trust clearance is mandatory.
- U.S. citizenship is required, with the ability to obtain a Public Trust government security clearance.
This position offers a Hybrid Remote work arrangement.
