Job Overview

JBW Federal is seeking a highly skilled Facility Operations Specialist to provide facility support management and program administrative support services. This position is based out of the Springfield, Virginia area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing approximately 7,000 square feet of GSA-leased warehouse space, including organizing, retrieving, and disbursing archived materials, equipment, furniture, and supplies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing procedures to identify, prevent, and ensure non-recurrence of defective services
  • Conducting facility studies on a recurring basis
  • Analyzing options, estimating cost-and-labor requirements, and submitting written assessments and recommendations
  • Providing agency-wide facility support, including conference room setups, multi-media presentation setups, establishing and relocating systems furniture
  • Producing Reduce-the-Footprint reports as requested
  • Creating space designs, templates, and schematic representations of agency-wide space usage and workflow

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting facility and warehouse operations, as well as strong planning, organizing, and communicating skills associated with warehouse, facility, and program operations.
