Job Title: Open Enrollment HR Support

We are seeking a highly skilled Open Enrollment HR Support Specialist to join our team at TalentBridge. As a key member of our HR Shared Services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring a successful Open Enrollment period for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Benefits and Open Enrollment Support:
    • Provide comprehensive benefits support to employees during the Open Enrollment period.
    • Assist employees with enrolling in benefits, explaining plan options, eligibility, and the enrollment process.
    • Address inquiries and troubleshoot issues related to Open Enrollment, including benefits files, coverage, and status changes.
    • Provide detailed information on health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability plans, and other benefit offerings.
    • Perform data entry related to Open Enrollment changes, adding dependents, beneficiaries, and manually updating benefit coverage when necessary.
    • Collaborate with external vendors to ensure accurate and timely transfer of data for Open Enrollment plan administration.
    • Assist employees with COBRA, disability claims, terminations, changes, and other benefit processes.
  • Customer Service and Support:
    • Respond to Open Enrollment-related calls and emails in a prompt, courteous, and accurate manner.
    • Provide high-level customer service to employees, ensuring all inquiries are resolved in accordance with established performance standards.
    • Utilize downtime to conduct research, document updates, and ensure employee data integrity.
    • Escalate complex benefit issues as needed to management or external vendors for resolution.
  • HR Operations:
    • Maintain and update employee benefits files, ensuring accurate records are kept in accordance with legal and company requirements.
    • Conduct regular audits of Open Enrollment-related data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Assist with the preparation of monthly benefit billings and vouchers for payment of administrative fees for group benefit plans.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws related to benefits administration and employment records.
  • Collaboration and Team Support:
    • Work closely with other HR Shared Services team members to provide assistance and guidance on Open Enrollment-related cases.
    • Support special projects related to Open Enrollment and benefits administration, as assigned by management.
  • Excel and Data Management:
    • Utilize Excel for tracking benefits data, conducting audits, and reporting on Open Enrollment enrollment metrics.
    • Ensure data integrity in HRIS systems (e.g., PeopleSoft), perform necessary updates, and generate reports as needed.
    Requirements:
    • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in benefits administration, with a focus on Open Enrollment processes and employee support.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel for data tracking and reporting. Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., PeopleSoft) is preferred.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for explaining benefit options and handling inquiries professionally.
    • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, particularly in maintaining and updating benefits records and documentation.
    • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve Open Enrollment-related issues promptly, escalating when necessary.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Familiarity with benefits-related legislation such as HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, and other compliance requirements.
    • Experience working in a high-volume call center or benefits support environment.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently.
