Cardiovascular Care Specialist

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist on this dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse array of patients with complex cardiac conditions, including myocardial infarction, chest pain, and arrhythmias.
We pride ourselves on being a Level 1 Trauma Center and a major teaching hospital, providing cutting-edge medical care to our community. Our highly experienced charge nurses serve as clinical resources to all staff members, ensuring that every patient receives the highest level of care.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong commitment to teamwork and quality patient care. Your dedication to continuous learning and professional growth will also be essential in helping us achieve our mission to deliver compassionate and personalized care to all those we serve.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Connecticut. Experience in acute care, medical-surgical, or cardiology is preferred, but not required. You will also be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and preferably Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary of $93,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
