Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at a prestigious hospital in Hartford, Connecticut.

About the Job:

This is a 12-week contract position with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent experience working in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit setting and hold a current Connecticut nursing license.

Responsibilities:

  • Care for critically ill patients with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular conditions
  • Work in a highly challenging environment requiring deep thinking, strong knowledge, and quick thinking
  • Adept at working with patients with different conditions, including overdose, post-surgery, trauma, and chronic illness

Compensation:

The estimated weekly payment may include both taxable wages and tax-free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals. The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
