$250,000 - $350,000 per year

About the Role:

Hartford HealthCare (HHC) is seeking a highly skilled Cardiologist to lead our Inherited Cardiovascular Disease Program. As Medical Director, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional clinical care to a diverse patient population and overseeing a team of cardiovascular specialists.

The ideal candidate will have experience in non-invasive cardiology and inherited cardiovascular disease. Proficiency in nuclear, exercise, and pharmacological stress testing, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, and carotid ultrasound studies is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of cardiovascular specialists
  • Deliver superb clinical care to patients with inherited cardiomyopathies and other related conditions
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and program growth
  • Collaborate with a dedicated cardiac genetic counselor to develop the Inherited Cardiovascular Disease program
  • Pursue extensive clinical research opportunities available within HHC
