Job Summary

Trinity Health is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist to join our team at Saint Francis Hospital. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional care to patients with complex cardiac conditions in a nationally recognized Center Of Excellence for Heart Failure.

About the Role

In this critical position, you will work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team to deliver high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement in their care plan
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Monitor patients' progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed to optimize patient outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (BSN) or higher
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Connecticut
  • BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
  • Prior experience in acute care, medical-surgical, or congestive heart failure nursing preferred
Work Environment

This full-time position offers a 36-hour workweek with rotating weekends and holidays. Our newly renovated 32-bed unit provides a state-of-the-art environment for delivering exceptional patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $115,000 annually, depending on experience. Additional benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plans, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
