You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, and provide individual and group therapy sessions to promote mental health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial psychological assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the Charge Nurse and multidisciplinary team.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients, using evidence-based practices and techniques to promote mental health and well-being.
- Collaborate with other unit staff to assess and evaluate patient mental status, and participate in crisis intervention techniques as needed.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide education and support to family members and significant others regarding patient mental health and treatment plans.
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Experience working with adult patients with mental health needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and techniques for mental health treatment.
