About the Role

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a skilled Mental Health professional to join our team at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients of all ages, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques to promote mental health and well-being.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring a comprehensive and coordinated approach to patient care.
  • Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment strategies.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of mental health.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field, with a strong background in mental health and counseling.
  • Experience working with patients of all ages, with a focus on mental health and well-being.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
