Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 5 years in program management with a proven ability to influence within a cross-functional organization.
Experience in network design, planning, or architecture within a technology or telecommunications environment.

Preferred qualifications:
5 years of experience overseeing cross-functional and/or cross-team initiatives.
Proficiency in the design and execution of telecommunications infrastructure, including fiber optics, power capacity, and data center construction. Familiarity with fiber network rollouts, including the establishment of both outside and inside plant fiber infrastructure.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will spearhead intricate, multi-disciplinary engineering initiatives leveraging your technical acumen. You will define requirements with internal stakeholders and guide projects through their entire lifecycle. This encompasses managing timelines, identifying potential risks, and effectively communicating these to project stakeholders.

You will be comfortable articulating your team's analyses and recommendations to executives while also engaging in technical discussions with engineers regarding product development trade-offs.

Utilizing your technical and leadership skills, you will manage Engineering-focused projects that are clearly defined under guidance.

Responsibilities include: Understanding dependencies, constraints, designs, and forecasting mechanisms that affect the business by engaging early and often, collaborating on process enhancements and communication.

Program manage the delivery of network infrastructure projects from inception to completion.

Collaborate with Cloud and networking technical teams to intake, analyze, and develop cost-effective and executable plans for Cloud networking requests.

Lead strategic network initiatives across Google from concept through planning and hand-off to execution teams by transforming large-scale ambiguous projects into well-defined problems, processes, and solutions.

Work closely with clients to gather requirements, manage stakeholder expectations, and provide clear program plans for dependable product delivery. Partner with engineering teams and third-party vendors to deliver network engineering and infrastructure design.
