As the Project Manager for Matting Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing temporary access and civil/environmental right-of-way projects across various sectors, including powerline, pipeline, and general construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to create and estimate project solutions.
  • Design and strategize temporary right-of-way access plans.
  • Participate in pre-bid, pre-construction, and site assessments for upcoming projects.
  • Conduct take-offs from construction drawings and estimate necessary labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Develop comprehensive execution plans, schedules, and project narratives for proposals.
  • Perform cost analysis and manage project scheduling and execution.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract specifications.
  • Oversee the selection and procurement of materials for assigned projects.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Engage with clients throughout the project lifecycle to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
  • Provide management with updates on bid and project status, including forecasts for revenue and costs.
  • Actively seek additional business opportunities through change orders and prepare proposals for client approval.
  • Negotiate and manage subcontract agreements while fostering positive relationships with subcontractors.
  • Ensure Purchase Orders are issued to maintain project profitability.
  • Identify and propose alternative solutions to enhance project safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Estimating or Project Management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and solve problems effectively.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Project Management and Lean construction principles.
  • Familiarity with construction methods, materials, equipment, and safety standards.
  • Proven ability to coordinate large-scale construction projects and oversee contractor performance.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Project; knowledge of B2W software is advantageous.
